Said Finance Committee <br />shall be appointed by a Committee consisting of <br />the Town Moderator, Chairman of the Board of Select- <br />men, and the Chairman of the existing Finance Com- <br />mittee." <br />Upon acceptance of the foregoing article, its approval <br />by the Office of the Attorney General, and subsequent pub- <br />lishing of same, present five -man Finance Committee will <br />be dissolved and a new Finance Commiittee appointed in <br />conformance with above By -Law. <br />Action: Motion made and seconded to see if the Town <br />will vote to amend Chapter II, Article VI of the Town By - <br />Laws by deleting Section I thereof and substituting in its <br />place the following: There shall be a Finance Committee <br />consisting of five voters of the Town who shall be appointed <br />by the Moderator for a term of 3 years: the original appoint- <br />ments to be one for one year, 2 for 2 years, and 2 for 3 years <br />and to appoint their successors for a term of 3 years. They <br />shall make their recommendations on all warrant articles <br />involving money appropriations. Voted 21 for the amend- <br />ment and 38 opposed. <br />Article 2.
