70 Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chap- ter '41,, Sections 81-K through 81 -GG inclusive 'which is known as the Subdivision Control Law or' take any other action thereon. Action: Motion made and seconded to accept article.,as read. Voted 148 for, none opposed. Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to amend Sec- tion'' 1; Article 1, of Chapter 1 of the Town By -Laws to read as follows: (a) `The annual ' town meeting for the appropriation of money and all other matters which shall properly comebefore it shall be held on the first Monday in March at 7:00 P.M. in each year, at such place as the Selectmen may determine. The election of officers I, shall be held on the succeeding Wednesday. The Selectmen may insert in the warrant for the annual meetings all articles and/or petitions, signed by ten or more legal voters, which shall have been delivered to the Selectmen, or either of them, or the Town Clerk, on or before the first Monday of January in each year; but the Selectmen may insert in said warrant any ar- ticle or articles received by them after said first Mon- day in January, if in their judgment it is advisable to do so, and whenever it is possible, shall, before calling a special town meeting, insert in a local newspaper a notice specifying the last day upon which articles to be inserted in the warrant for such meetings shall be presented to the Selectmen or Town Clerk. The war- rant for the annual meeting shall also designate the town officers who are to be chosen by ballot, and their respective terms of office. (b) All Town Reports from each department, elected of appointed officials shall be delivered to the Selectmen or Town Clerk on or before the first Monday of Janu- ary in each year.
