Membership <br /> has passed the fifty mark, and under the leadership of Mr. <br /> f Craig Green and the able officers, has held interesting and <br /> informative monthly meetings. Projects completed were: <br /> 1. ]Establishment of a "scholarship award" for deserving <br /> high school seniors, planning to enter institutions of higherher <br /> learning and in conjunction with these awards, the "New <br /> Seabury Mens Luncheon Club" also formed a similar award <br /> to be awarded yearly by the Principal of the high school. <br /> Recipients, in June of this year, were Peggy Dias and Paul <br /> Hendricks both of the Class of 1968. <br /> 2. Three programs presented to inform parents and <br /> friends of the dangers of modern drugs. <br /> 3. A "Carnival" and a cake sale; profits of which will <br /> be used to purchase new school equipment. <br /> 4. A new television set was presented to the school. <br /> Periodically, I take this opportunity to acquaint our <br /> parents with our course of study. This year, in the space <br /> permitted, I would like to outline the basic philosophy and <br /> objectives of our social studies in grades one, three, and five. <br /> I. Social Studies—Grade I <br /> II. Philosophy appreciate their <br /> To establish a desire to know and to app <br /> immediate environment. <br /> III. Objectives <br /> A.
