r
58
V on the regional sewer water and solid waste disposal plan-
ning program.
In the furtherance of creating an effective regional plan-
ning agency, the Commission recognized the need to develop
and maintain working relationships with as many local mu-
nicipal officials, heads of civic groups and interested citizens
as possible. Under the able chairmanship of Frederick V.
Lawrence, seven standing advisory committees have been
j created whose membership approximates two hundred per-
sons and who are representative of virtually all of Cape Cod's
social, economic and environmental interests. They are en-
titled:
Economic Development
Environmental and Natural Resources
Human Resources
Transportation
Regional Public Facilities
Development Standards
I Governmental Resources
The Commission has prepared a land use survey map of
Mashpee showing the actual use of all land in town which
is presently being revised by the Mashpee Planning Board.
This map will be of assistance when federal monies are ad-
vanced for planning our Town since this preliminary step
will already be completed and allow a more far reaching
study by the planning consultants.
Respectfully submitted,
PHILIP A. ROLLINS,
Mashpee Representative
j
1 ,
3 R
