26 <br /> Report of the Civil Defense Director <br /> Honorable Board of Selectmen. <br /> and Citizens of the Town of Mashpee <br /> Your Civil Defense Director wishes to report that 1971 <br /> was a productive and interesting year. A Training Program <br /> in Medical Self-Help was conducted for 40 Firemen, Police <br /> Officers and interested residents. A First Aid Course was <br /> j' arranged for the students of the 5th and 6th grades at the <br /> Samuel Davis School. A Multi-Media Training Course for <br /> Firemen was conducted at the Barnstable County Fire and <br /> ii Police Academy. <br /> Your Director was instrumental in obtaining surplus <br /> property for the Police, Fire and Highway departments. <br /> The storage area for Civil Defense supplies and the Emer- <br /> gency Generator has been partially completed. Funds have <br /> been requested in the 1972 Annual Town Meeting to complete <br /> the interior of the building. <br /> I wish to thank all the Town Officials and citizens of the <br /> Town of Mashpee who have been of assistance during the <br /> past year. <br /> I , <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> HENRY F.
