m Article 39: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of$616.50 to be transferred to the Park& Recrea- tion Department "Wages - Arts & Crafts Instructors" Account. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article to read: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of$800.00 to be transferred to the Park& Recreation Department "Wages - Arts & Crafts Instructors" Account. Motion made and seconded to accept Article 39 as amended. A unanimous vote. j Article 40: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds the sum of$700.00 for the construction of an outdoor basketball court, to be located in Collins Field. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 40 to read: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of$700.00 for the construction of an outdoor basketball court, to be located in Pocknett Field. Motion made and seconded to accept Article 40 as amended. A una- nimous vote. Article 41: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds a sum of money for the purchase of a "walkie talkie" portable radio for the Fire Department or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 41 to read: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of$650.00 for the purchase of a "walkie talkie" portable radio for the Fire Department. Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 41 as amended. A unani- mous vote. Article 42: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the hiring of two men for the Fire Department and further to raise and appropriate a sum of money sufficient to pay their salaries according to the Salary Administra- tion Plan or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 42. Motion carried. Article 43: To see what amount of money the Town will vote to transfer from available funds or raise and appropriate to be added to the Fire Depart- ment Capital Outlay Fund or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to amend Article 43 to read: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the Revenue Sharing Fund the sum I" of$10,000. to be added to the Fire Department Capital Outlay Fund. Article 44: To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Select- men to appoint a full-time Shellfish Warden or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 44. Motion carried. i 61 ,
