om disillusion of the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council, Inc. Motion made and <br /> seconded to accept Article 51 as amended. A unanimous vote - 283 for; none <br /> opposed. <br /> Article 52: To see if the Town will vote to raise or appropriate, or take any <br /> other action thereon, the sum of$600.00 (six hundred)to install a deep well and <br /> pump for water on Town of Mashpee owned property, namely Attaquin Park. This <br /> system will provide drinking water for any and all approved activities in this Park <br /> area. <br /> i <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to take from available funds the sum of <br /> $600.00 (six hundred). A unanimous vote. <br /> Article 53: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum <br /> of$2,000.00 to be used by the Bicentennial Commission of the Town of Mashpee <br /> for expenses for the year 1975-1976. <br /> i <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 53 as read. A unani- <br /> mous vote. <br /> Article 54: To see if the Town will vote to establish the position of a full-time <br /> Conservation and Wildlife Officer. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 54. <br /> A unanimous vote. <br /> Article 55: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum <br /> of$7,000.00 for the salary of the Conservation and Wildlife Officer or take any <br /> other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: No action. <br /> Article 56: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take <br /> from available funds the sum of$10,000.00 to be placed in the Conservation <br /> Fund or take any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer from the Revenue Sharing <br /> Funds the sum of$10,000.00. A unanimous vote. <br /> Article 57: To see if the Town will vote to transfer to the custody of the <br /> Conservation Commission the so-called John Austin Lot containing sixty (60) <br /> acres being the same premises described in Article 41 of the 1963 Annual <br />:d. Town Meeting. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 57 as read. A unani- <br /> mous vote. <br /> Article 58: To see if the Town will vote to transfer to the care and custory <br /> of the Conservation Commission the Town Forest containing two hundred ten (210) <br /> acres, being the same premises described in Article 28 of the 1972 Annual Town <br /> Meeting, or take any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 58 as read. A unani- <br /> e mous vote. <br /> Article 59: To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town By-laws by adding <br /> e an additional section to read as follows: "No land acquired by the Town through <br /> tax title proceedings shall be sold or otherwise disposed of until it shall have first <br /> been determined by a vote at a Town Meeting whether or not said land shall be held <br /> by the Town as Conservation land, with the custody and control thereof being <br /> transferred to the Conservation Commission for all purposes included in Section 8C k <br /> 63 <br /> s; <br />
