Article 64: To see if the Town of Mashpee will build and maintain shelters on School Bus Routes throughout the Town for the protection of children from incle- ment weather located at: 1. Ockway Bay Estates, Tracy Lane 2. New Seabury Marina 3. New Seabury, Summer Sea, On the Green Way 4. The Farm on Route 151 5. Entrance to Johns Pond Estates 6. Popponesset, Clover Road and Shore Road 7. Mashpee Neck Road, Entrance to Pirates Cove 8. Paul Lipper Real Estate, Cotuit Road 9. Two Blocks from Paul Lipper's Real Estate ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 64. So voted. i Article 65: To raise and allocate approximately$3,600.00 to build nine (9) shelters on School Bus Routes for the protection of children from inclement weather. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 65. Unanimous. Article 66: To see if the Town will vote to prohibit all motorboats with g internal combustion engines and to prohibit motorboats with electric motors in excess often (10)horsepower on John's Pond as authorized in St. 1971 C. 489 amending section 45 of Chapter 131 of the General Laws; and to impose a fine not to exceed fifty dollars for each violation. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 66. ' So voted. Article 67: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of$--------to remove, store, repair and replace marker buoys and signs in Popponesset Bay, Ockway Bay and Mashpee Neck or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer from available funds the Y sum of$2,200.00. So voted. Article 68: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of$1,000. for new signs at John's Pond and Wakeby- Mashpee Ponds. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer from available funds the sum of$1,000.00. So voted. Article 69: To see if the Town will vote to enact the following regulations Y relative to recreational use of John's Pond: S, 1. No water skiing shall be permitted in the easterly side of John's Pond. I 2. No water skiing shall be permitted in the shall cove north of John's Pond Estates on the westerly side of John's Pond. 3. The speed limit in both coves shall be six (6)miles per hour. he ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 69 as read. So voted. Article 70: To see if the Town will vote to require that all water skiing starts and stops on John's Pond be made in deep water 150 feet from shore, swimmers �. and other boats or from a specifically designated ski beach. 65 j 'L -
