Article 64: To see if the Town of Mashpee will build and maintain shelters on <br /> School Bus Routes throughout the Town for the protection of children from incle- <br /> ment weather located at: <br /> 1. Ockway Bay Estates, Tracy Lane <br /> 2. New Seabury Marina <br /> 3. New Seabury, Summer Sea, On the Green Way <br /> 4. The Farm on Route 151 <br /> 5. Entrance to Johns Pond Estates <br /> 6. Popponesset, Clover Road and Shore Road <br /> 7. Mashpee Neck Road, Entrance to Pirates Cove <br /> 8. Paul Lipper Real Estate, Cotuit Road <br /> 9. Two Blocks from Paul Lipper's Real Estate <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 64. So <br /> voted. <br /> i <br /> Article 65: To raise and allocate approximately$3,600.00 to build nine (9) <br /> shelters on School Bus Routes for the protection of children from inclement weather. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 65. <br /> Unanimous. <br /> Article 66: To see if the Town will vote to prohibit all motorboats with <br /> g internal combustion engines and to prohibit motorboats with electric motors in <br /> excess often (10)horsepower on John's Pond as authorized in St. 1971 C. 489 <br /> amending section 45 of Chapter 131 of the General Laws; and to impose a fine <br /> not to exceed fifty dollars for each violation. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 66. <br />' So voted. <br /> Article 67: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from <br /> available funds the sum of$--------to remove, store, repair and replace <br /> marker buoys and signs in Popponesset Bay, Ockway Bay and Mashpee Neck or <br /> take any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer from available funds the <br /> Y sum of$2,200.00. So voted. <br /> Article 68: To see if the Town will vote to appropriate or transfer from <br /> available funds the sum of$1,000. for new signs at John's Pond and Wakeby- <br /> Mashpee Ponds. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to transfer from available funds the <br /> sum of$1,000.00. So voted. <br /> Article 69: To see if the Town will vote to enact the following regulations <br /> Y relative to recreational use of John's Pond: <br /> S, 1. No water skiing shall be permitted in the easterly side of <br /> John's Pond. <br /> I 2. No water skiing shall be permitted in the shall cove north <br /> of John's Pond Estates on the westerly side of John's Pond. <br /> 3. The speed limit in both coves shall be six (6)miles per hour. <br /> he ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 69 as read.
