ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 70 as read. So voted. Article 71: To see if the Town will vote to require that all water skiing on John's Pond be in a counter-clockwise direction. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 71 as read. So voted. Article 72: To see if the Town will vote to repeal the limitation of the use of engines exceeding 45 horsepower on John's Pond. ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to indefinitely postpone Article 72. Motion carried 170 for - 56 opposed. Article 73: To see if the Town will vote to amend Article IV of the Town By- laws as follows: "twenty-five voters" and add the words, "five per cent of the number of registered voters" Article IV shall then read: "Ten per cent of the number of registered voters in the Town as certifed by the Town Clerk, shall constitute a quorum at any annual meeting. Five per cent of the number of registered voters shall constitute a quorum at any special town meeting". ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 73 to read: To see if the Town will vote to amend Article IV of the Town By—laws as follows: to delete "twenty-five voters" and add the words "five percent of the number of registered voters" Article IV shall then read: "Ten per cent of the number of the number of regis- tered voters in the Town, as certified by the Town Clerk, shall constitute a quorum at any annual meeting. Five per cent of the number of registered voters shall constitute a quorum at any special town meeting". Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 73 as amended. So voted. Article 74: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or take from available funds a sum of money to compile and publish the Town By-laws; said By-laws to be made available by January 1, 1976, at a cost to cover the publishing. iACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to amend Article 74 to read: To see if the Town will vote to take from available funds the sum of$2,200.00 to compile and publish the Town By-laws; said By-laws to be made available by January 1, 1976 at a cost to cover the publishing plus mailing charges, if any. Motion made and seconded to accept article as amended. So voted. kArticle 75: To see if theTown will vote to amend Article I, Section 2 of the Town By-laws as follows: delete the words, "Give notice at least seven (7) days before such meeting" and add the words, "give notice at least fourteen (14) days before such meeting. Article I- Section 2 shall then read: "Every Town Meeting Warrant except as otherwise provided by law shall be directed to the Constable who shall forth- with give notice at least fourteen (14) days before such meeting, by posting a copy of said warrant, one at the Town Hall, one at the Post Office and one at each of the Town Bulletin Boards, and by causing to be published in a news- paper of general circulation within the Towm of Mashpee copy of said warrant.
