Motion passes by 2/3rds at 8.-52 PMO <br /> Article 24 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law by amending the zoning map to <br /> include lots I through 6 shown on, as well as a 50 foot street layout of Great Hay Road created <br /> by, a subdivision plan entitled "Romar Estates, Plan of Land in Mashpee, Massachusetts for <br /> Rogers & Harney Inc." by Baxter & Nye, Inc., revised date November 18,, 1986, which was <br /> signed by the Mashp�ee Planning Board on December 17, 1986, within the 1-1 Industrial zoning <br /> district and to delete any portion of these described parcels from the R-3 Residential zoning <br /> district, all as shown on a plan filed with the Town Clerk entitled "I-1 Zoning Map Change - <br /> October 2005", or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Planning Board <br /> Explanationo. This, article would amend the zoning to 1-1 Industrial, from R-3 Residential, on <br /> approximately 8 acres of land between the Mashpee Industrial Park area and Great Hay Road <br /> adjacent to the Town Cemetery. The rezoning will allow the extension of a previously-approved <br /> street called Romar Drive to create a connection between Commercial Street / Mashpee <br /> Industrial Park and Great Neck Road South. Such a connection is called for in the <br /> Comprehensive Plan in order to reduce traffic in the Rotary area. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on October 5, 2005 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made by 'Theresa Cook. <br /> Motion: I move Article 24be voted as printed in the warrant, except for the phrase "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto". <br /> Town Moderator declares motion passes by a 2/3rds vote 8:56 PMS <br /> Article 25 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Bylaw at §174-5(E), "Enumeration of <br /> Districts,"' as follows: <br /> The IC Overlay District shall include those parcels shown on the 1999 Mashpee Assessors' Maps <br /> as Map 81, Blocks 18 and 21, as well as those portions of Map 81, Blocks 17 and 19 which are <br /> located in the 1-1 Industrial. Zone; Map 88, Blocks 2, 19, 20, 23, 34, 36, 37, 41 and 4,2; that <br /> portion of Map 54, Block 5 lying within 625 feet of the center line of Route 28; and those parcels <br /> shown on the 2004 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 88, Parcels 39, 83,, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 91, <br /> 921 93, 94, 95, 96, 102, 103, 104, 105 and 106: <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Landowner Petitioner <br /> 24 <br />
