trips per day and on both sides of streets having over one thousand <br /> (1,000) trips per day; <br /> (c) where required by the Planning Board, bicycle facilities shall be <br /> constructed along such streets in the form of two (2) five-foot-wide <br /> paved shoulder bike lanes or a paved bikeway or mixed bicycle / <br /> pedestrian facility having a width of at least 10 feet." <br /> Amend Subsection H. by deleting the words ", except single-family detached structures," from the <br /> first sentence. <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would amend various portions of the Open Space Incentive <br /> Development(OSID) bylaw to: <br /> • update certain references, <br /> • correct certain transcription errors, <br /> • clarify that one-family townhouse-style buildings on individual lots will be treated the same as <br /> "one-family detached dwellings" within the bylaw, particularly with reference to the creation <br /> of lots for such townhouses which have no restriction on the number of bedrooms allowed, <br /> • restrict the bylaw's 100 foot limit on the length of single wall planes to residential uses on <br /> individual lots, <br /> • reduce the required setback of sewage facilities and trash storage buildings from 300 to 200 <br /> feet from the project boundary, <br /> • clarify that non-residential uses are allowed in commercially-zoned portions of an OSID <br /> project, <br /> • clarify that lots smaller than required by the underlying zoning district are allowed within <br /> OSID projects, <br /> • allow for off-site or on-street parking facilities for lots within the OSID and <br /> • remove certain street design standards in deference to the Planning Board's subdivision and <br /> special permit regulations. <br /> • allow one-family detached dwellings on separate lots within commercially-zoned portions of <br /> mixed-use OSID projects <br /> Motion made by Curtis Frye. <br /> Motion: I move Article 32 be approved as printed in the warrant <br /> except to replace the word "beams" in Subsection E.(6)(a) with the word "berms" and to delete <br /> the phrase, "or take any other action related thereto." <br /> Page 40 of 63 <br />
