Mr. Fudala reviewed the conditions that the radius ofthe turnaround must show that the Fire <br /> Department would accept the radius and that the sew-trailers would be able to turn i their lanes, <br /> that the openspace lot should include frontage on Rhiannon's way for access to the rear of the-lot, <br /> no more than 20 feet and subject to the Cape Cod Commission decision and that the previously <br /> approved layout be rescinded as-part of hi decision. Mr. Rowley recommended that the access be <br /> no les than 20 feet to allow plenty of space for the Fire Department to enter the area. Regarding <br /> the sidewalk 11r. All <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> BOARD CMS <br /> Old Business <br /> New Business <br /> Green Park Subcommittee deport-Mr. Fudala swcd that the draft minutes were included in <br /> the packet as information_ fir. Rooharian reported that the Subcommittee met for a second <br /> meeting. 'Mere was discussion at the meeting about the concept as well as trails extending from the <br /> high school to Trout Pond, connecting to the Mashpee River, and the possibility of the Children's <br /> Museum relocating to the'Trout Pond area. Mr. Rooharian stated that the green area across from <br /> the library was discussed as a key to the park system and the idea that it would be important for the <br /> Town-to take ownership of the area to make it a destination point for citizens and visitors. It would <br /> also give a piece of property to the citizens in the heart ofdowntown Mashpee. A walk-around was <br /> to be scheduled with Doug Storrs to view the Trout Pond area. <br /> Mr. Blzarini inquired whether it was a dead deal based on Mr. Storrs" recent communication and <br /> expressed frustration that once zoning was changed,Mr. Storrs tended to rind his plans. Mr. <br /> Kooh rian stated that Mr. Storrs had been previously supportive of the green pans concept. Mr. <br /> lzarini expressed frustration that the Planning Board would not be involved until the end of the <br /> project. Mr. Fudala coed that Mr. Storrs had been supportive of the green corridors, although . <br /> Mashpee Commons had withdrawn from the Development Agreement resulting in the Planning <br /> Beard having less leverage. Mr. Fudala sued that the Board would address commercial <br /> development and that Mashpee Commons would have to conform to hUshpee's zoning. <br /> Mr. Mullin requested that the Board keep to a summary rather than a discussion because there was <br /> no posted meeting and it was bordering on a violation of the open meeting law. Chairman Waygan <br /> _ stated that the topics were on the agenda. Mr. Mullin shed that it was not a posted meeting so it <br /> should be kept to a report and not a discussion since there was a Subcommittee quorum present. <br /> -Mr. Mullin and the Chair disagreed about whether it was a violation of the open meeting law. fir. <br /> Mullin stated that he would ask the Attorney General's office and the Chair responded that she had <br /> already contacted the Attorney General's office about the Subcommittee.
