The Town Planner suggested Applicant meet with the <br /> Board of Selectmen prior to approval of the Definitive <br /> Plan. <br /> Lee Gurney expressed her concern regarding the <br /> reconfiguration of an ancient gray. <br /> The Town Planner expressed concern regarding the 3- <br /> lots to the west of Simons Road, coming out of an open <br /> space area. <br /> Attorney McElhinney proposed an offset of <br /> corresponding -amount of lots to be retired, probably <br /> located on the east side of Willowbend load at the junction <br /> of Sampson' s Mill- Road. He agreed to prepare a plan <br /> indicating this proposal:. <br /> The Town Planner suggested this matter be continued t <br /> October, ,, 2004 . <br /> The Chairman them opened the floor to members of the <br /> public, recognizing the following speakers: <br /> John Harris, 53 Yardarm Drive, Mashpee - Stated he is <br /> not in opposition to the Applicant' s requests, but gather <br /> asked for Planning Board support in asking the Applicanit t <br /> realize prior commitment . specifically, an ,agreement made <br /> in 1998 that Applicant would not use the Simons marrows <br /> access while constructing 15-new homes on Shoestring Bay <br /> Road/Tern Road. As a result of construction 'access-, Simons. <br /> Narrows-Road has failed in. some places, catch basins need <br /> to be raised, and pavement at the intersection- of Ma-shpee <br /> Neck Road is in need of replacement. He p r vided the Board <br /> with a copy of a letter dated 1998, to the Board of <br /> Appeals, signed by Attorney McElhinney outlining this <br /> agreement. He asked that these concerns be addressed by <br /> the Planning Board. <br /> Letter dated May 27, 1998, by T illowbend Development <br /> Corporation, to the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals, <br /> regarding Shoestring Bay, signed by John E. McBlhinney, <br /> Executive Vice President, was presented to the Chairman for <br /> review. <br /> Attorney McElh-inney responded that said drainage <br /> improvements have been made, and that Willowbend <br />
