The Consulting Engineer inquired. as to the purpose of <br /> Parcel C. <br /> The Town Planner inquired as to the drainage system. <br /> Mr. Aucoin .e pla_ined the profile is extremely flat . <br /> The proposal i for a crown In the road with gravel at the <br /> end as there is expected to be very little water runoff. <br /> o drainage is re'guired. The proposal is to attach to an <br /> existing (circular) driveway. <br /> The Consulting Engineer informed the Board that h'e has <br /> been assured by the Applicant that said driveway would only <br /> serge Lot 3A. This being the case he feels it is not <br /> necessary to go beyond this point . <br /> At this point. t- e Town Planner interjected the Cadigan <br /> property could also access the property. <br /> Mr. Aucoin ac nowledg d that Nor. Cadigan was present <br /> at the meeting, that he does have an existing driveway off <br /> Route 130, and has never expressed an interest in coming <br /> off a new. road. <br /> The Chairman recognized Joseph Cadigan who stated his <br /> major concern is whether th'e road will run from Cotuit t <br /> Route 130 . He has safety issues/concerns involving his <br /> grandchildren if the road were to be that close to his <br /> property. He requested the Board allow the existing road <br /> to stand a°s is. <br /> The Town Planner stated his agreement with cutting the <br /> road 'Off, his concern being how to accomplish this legally <br /> without compromising Mr. Mender' rights. <br /> Mr. Aucoin feels confident that if they provide both <br /> the hilc t't and I endes property with a 20-foot width, he <br /> could close the road off. This is how they devised Parcel <br /> and C. <br /> Mr. Aucoin stated he is very willing to eliminate <br /> Parcel A and Parcel C from the Definitive Plan, which will <br /> be revised eliminating the Dote that states the two parcels <br /> will be combined with the abutting properties. <br /> The Chairman asked who would be responsible for road <br /> maintenance. <br />
