i <br /> The Town Planner stated the subje t matter is an <br /> emergency access for the Fire Department, at their request, <br /> a gated emergency access . However the Fire chief has <br /> expressed some concern regarding snow built-up t the gate <br /> site. Applicant is in favor or maintaining a dated access <br /> to discourage public use of Wag' s Road. <br /> The- Chairman suggested that .all concerned parties in <br /> this matter meet and attempt to resolve these matters prior <br /> to appearance discussion of this matter before the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> There being no further Board or public comment in this <br /> matter, the chairman entertained a -motion regarding an <br /> extension t file Decision to February 18, 2005 . <br /> MOTION: Steve Dolan made a Motion to approve an <br /> extension of time in: order to file a Decision in this <br /> matter to February 18, 200- ; which Motion was duly econded- <br /> by Dennis Balza-rini and so voted unanimously. <br /> There was continued discussion regarding the access <br /> issue with the Town Planner explaining the road connection <br /> is not located on Deer crossing property, and that access <br /> being proposed is specifically for fire emergency response <br /> for the 1 0-lot condominium- project. Deer crossing <br /> ownership, according to a determination made by Land court <br /> is a portion of the parking lot and access- to the parking <br /> lot from shel lbac Way. ) <br /> Mr. Dimeco spoke to the impossibility of coning out of <br /> ags Road, over the paved area, and onto Shell.ba.ck Way <br /> without crossing Deer Condominium Trust property. <br /> The Town Planner stated it would also be impossible <br /> for the Fire Department to access Deer crossing property in <br /> the event of emergency. <br /> The Chairman recognized Ernie Farr-en, Deer Crossing, <br /> who stated, "Tom makes a good point, I'm not saying that a <br /> second entrance isn' t a good thing. " "Here is the long and <br /> short of it, we in Deer crossing, do not want boats hauled <br /> through..." <br /> The Town Planner responded by stating there will be an <br /> emergency date structure only to be opened as a through way <br /> in the event of a fire emergency.
