i <br /> Attorney .K-irrane requested a vote of the Board with <br /> the condition that the outstanding items be provided; the <br /> Board was not so inclined. <br /> At this point the Chairman ope ed the floor to public <br /> comment : <br /> Freddy Dimeco, Chairman, Shellback Way Trust and Deer <br /> Crossing Condominiums - Expressed concerned about opening a <br /> road off Route 28 that was nearer to have been connected to <br /> a private residential property. He expressed concern about <br /> monitoring/enforcement issues . He made reference t-o the <br /> issue of dirt bike riders on the easement located behind <br /> the presidential property. <br /> Mr. Dimeco, insisted the Assessors'reap used at a <br /> previous meeting was incorrect and that the property in <br /> question is owned by Deer Crossing Condominiums . He <br /> objected to the availability an access would provide, he <br /> has no objection to the, use of a date at this location. <br /> Mr. Dimeco- al-so insisted that wags Road was a dead end <br /> road and nearer intended to access private property. <br /> Attorney Kirrane stated, "we have exhausted every <br /> effort with the Fire Department to address their concerns. " <br /> It is his belief that the Fire Department would like <br /> emergency access to the Deer Crossing commercial complex. <br /> Mr. Dimeco claimed Chief Baker told the Deer Crossing <br /> community that there is no need -for a second means of <br /> egress, and that Mashpee Commons will connect to whitings <br /> Road. <br /> The Town Planner responded to this statement claiming. <br /> Chief Baker has denied saying this. <br /> The Chairman determined from Mr. Dimeco that the <br /> installation of a gate would satisfy the Deer Crossing <br /> Condominium residents' concerns . <br /> The Town Planner explained that the Fire Department <br /> ha-s recent cause for concern regarding the maifttenance of a <br /> dated area, snow blockage of access. <br /> Attorney Kirrne stated Applicant has no issues with <br /> providing a gated access as was their original suggestion. <br /> 10 <br />
