Dick Fe-llenber , Southport Resident - Asked whether or <br /> not dead trees could be removed without the prior approval <br /> of the Planning Board. <br /> The Town Planner responded that certain trees were not <br /> dead when the initial inspection was made. Every attempt <br /> was to have been -made to save those trees- that now appear <br /> to be dying. There are certain trees that have to be <br /> protected and preserved. He agreed to inspect those trees <br /> that are of concern to the residents . <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Southport - Proposed renaming of Bonwood Drive north <br /> to Pebble Beach Avenue <br /> The appointed dour having arrived the chairman called <br /> the Public Hearing in this matter to order. She recognized <br /> the Town clerk, Debbie Dami. <br /> The Town Clerk presented a letter from Ron Bonvie, as <br /> President of the Homeowners Association indicating his <br /> favor to name this road' .Pebble Beach Avenue"" . She also <br /> provided two individual letters from the two residents who <br /> live on said road indicating their approval for a name <br /> change to "Pebble Beach Avenue" . <br /> The "Town clerk made a formal request to the Board to <br /> approve the road name change from Bonwood Drive Forth t <br /> Pebble Beach Avenue. <br /> The Chairman recognised Al Guistidus who stated that <br /> he has no personal objection to said street name -chang.e -to <br /> Pebble Beach Avenue. <br /> There being no further Board or Public comment the <br /> Chairman entertained a ,motion. <br /> MOTION : Dennis Bal. arini made a Motion to close the <br /> Public Nearing in this matter; which Motion was duly <br /> seconded by John Ralachis -and so voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION: John Halachis made a Motion to accept the <br /> recommendation to change the road name in Southport from <br /> Bonwood Drive North to Pebble Beach Avenue, which Motion <br /> was duly seconded by Dennis Blarini and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 4 <br />
