The Planning Board is in support of these proposed <br /> articles. <br /> Discussion <br /> ashpee Commons DRI <br /> Request from Sharon Rooney, Cape Cod Commission, <br /> regarding a meeting scheduled for Jul 1 'h, with reference <br /> to Planning Board denial of Mashpee Commons DRI extension. <br /> Request is being made- for Planning Board decision, in <br /> writing, explaining reasons for not suppotting a further <br /> extensiot in this matter. <br /> The Chairman volunteered to draft a letter from the <br /> Board explaining their reasoning for not supporting further <br /> DRI extensions for the I ashpee Commons project, being they <br /> feel said project should continue under the current -DRI <br /> regulations (2002 Regional Policy Plan) , as opposed to <br /> those of 1996. <br /> Status of Request for Supplemental Funds from <br /> The Finance Committee <br /> The Town Planner reported this matter has been <br /> approved. <br /> Status of Notre Dame Lane Plantings and Demolition <br /> The Town Planner explained there exists an old <br /> structure on this parcel of land that was shown on the <br /> approved plan to be demolished and has not been. The <br /> houses- have- been constructed and the original developer is <br /> not here. <br /> The Assistant Building Inspector stated this natter <br /> could be addressed through the building code as are unsafe <br /> structure. The previous owner has been contacted and has <br /> agreed to have said structure removed. <br /> The Town Planner mentioned there is an existing <br /> landscape plan that has not been completed in this project. <br /> There is no security or covenant in place, the question <br /> being who is to be held accountable. He suggested seeping <br /> guidance from Town Counsel as to the enforcement mechanism <br /> at this point; to which the Board agreed. <br /> 1 <br />
