He explained that the <br /> original plan dates back to 1998 and that the Cape Cod Commission requires that plans <br /> be completely updated at ten-year intervals. <br /> He made reference to the Comprehensive Plan Assessment Report for the Town <br /> of Mashpee,.suggesting that the Town should assess current development, population <br /> growth and trends, as well as the undeveloped land in order to determine the current <br /> status of the.community. The plan should then be assessed for its previous successes and <br /> shortcomings with reference to policies and actions. <br /> The current plan contains well over o -policies. 1 -elements, and 0-actions. <br /> The plan has been narrowed dwAm to those elements relating to the physical development <br /> of the corn munitv. <br /> He suggested that the Major Issues as outlined on page - - of the report be <br /> discussed and addressed as this will be the basis for the update and moving forward. <br /> 8 <br />
