Mr. Storrs agreed that the use of rain barrels will be-incorporated into the project <br /> as much as possible and that catch basins will also be used where needed. Best <br /> Management Practices will be applied wherever possible along with a backup safety <br /> system. <br /> There was some discussion regarding landscaped/pi anti ng islands in the parking <br /> lot areas. References were made to the proposed library building nd natural Swale and <br /> raised catch basin system. <br /> There being no further Board, Staff, or Public comment the Chairman entertained <br /> a motion for continuance. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to continue the Public rearing in <br /> this matter to February 20, 20 at : o p.m.; which Motion was duly seconded by <br /> Thomas O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> Discussion <br /> Proposed Mashpee Commons Building Mounted wind Power facilities <br /> The Chairman recognized Douglas Storrs. She informed him of the Board's <br /> intention to submit a revision at the May Town Fleeting of the wind Turbine By-law that <br /> would permit the use of building mounted turbines. <br /> Mr. Storrs made reference-to Building I 1 B, the current T; lbot's B uiIding, stating <br /> this to be the most appropriate location for the proposed turbine. He spore to the <br /> educational and informational benefits this proposal would provide at this very visible <br /> location. <br /> Mr. Storrs has requested a variance from the Zoning By-laver in order to go <br /> forward with the proposed project. <br /> Ater brief discussion this matter concluded at 9: o p.m. <br /> Approval of Proposed Zoning Bylaw Amendment <br /> Building Mounted Turbines <br /> The Chairman called this natter to order and entertained a motion be made. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Bal arini made a Motion to submit the proposed revision to <br /> the Zoning Bylaw to the Board of-Selectmen for consideration to be placed on the <br /> Warrant for the May 2008 Town Meeting; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas <br /> O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> Performance Guarantee <br /> Arthur paga.n.i-1 9 and 221 Noisy Mole Road <br /> Signature of Road and Flooding Covenants <br />
