Lawrence Carr, Applicant—Addressed the Board noting the concerns raised by <br /> the previous speaker as well as other residents of Seaside. He inforrtied the Board that an <br /> agreement has been reached between New Seabury Properties, Bayswater Development, <br /> and Seaside to continue discussion in an attempt to alleviate some of the concerns that <br /> have been raised such as landscaping and headlight/traffic impacts. He also spoke to the <br /> concern regarding the destiny of the remaining land in this area which is unknown at the <br /> current time and has been communicated to the residents. He anticipates focus on a <br /> development plan within the next few months with.a direction towards a lesser density <br /> and higher value of product avoiding any diminishing aspects of the New Seabury <br /> community. <br /> TIhere was brief discussion regarding road/traffic concerns. Although this is a <br /> gated community,-Applicant does have the ability to periodically nourish the beach after <br /> a storm event between October 1 `h and April 1 as stipulated in the Order of <br /> Conditions. <br /> There being no further Board, Staff, or Public comment the Chairman entertained <br /> a motion to close the Public Hearing. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to close the Public Hearing in this <br /> matter; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> The Town Planner suggested the following language as Conditions be indicated <br /> on the plan--"A note shall be added to the plan prohibiting the issuance of a building <br /> permit for construction of Lot 160, 165 1, or 1652 for the existing septic systems on <br /> those lots have been abandoned as required by C II Title v and the Mashpee Board o <br /> Health". "A further note shall be added to the plan stating than no drainage shall be <br /> allowed to fall from Lot 1655 onto the relocated Shore Drive West until such time as a <br /> revised drainage system.for said roadway has been approved by the Mashpee hpee lanniang <br /> Board as a Modification of'this Definitive Subdivision Plan." <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to approve the Definitive <br /> Subdivision Plan for Bayswater LL , subject to the two above-mentioned notes (septic <br /> systems drainage issues) to be added to said plan prior to recording;,which Motion was <br /> duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> (The Chairman signed a Certificate of Action to be filed with Town Clerk.) <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Mashpee Commons LP—Jobs Fishing Road <br /> Approval Special Permit for Commercial Project within Mashpee Commons <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman read the Public Hearing notice <br /> into the record and called the Public Hearing to order. <br /> She recognized Douglas.Storrs, Applicant. <br /> 5 <br />
