He noted that they went back to them and presented them with :, <br /> additional information on building materials and landscaping. Mr.Butler presented a small <br /> model of the building proposed. <br /> Mr.Butler noted that the Design Review Committee was comfortable with indicating to both ' <br /> Department and the Plannin Board that the had enough information; <br /> the Town Planning Dep g y ugh <br /> and that theywould be able to receive final landscaping plans and foal architectural plans as <br /> , <br /> a condition of this special permit,if the Planning Board is inclined to have that as a <br /> F <br /> condition. f <br /> He noted that one component of Design Review that needed further clarification was the <br /> tion of signs. There will be two signs on the site and they need to be f n.all determined. 3 <br /> loca gn gn eY Y <br /> There will be some form of outside sign and there will be a sign on the building. <br /> Traffic Mitigation Numbers <br /> Mr.Butler submitted to the Planning Board a copy of a letter which he received from Rizzo , <br /> Associates Inc.. He noted that Rizzo Associates was the traffic engineering company that J` <br /> worked with the Mashpee Industrial Park in their initial negotiations for the development <br /> agreement. He noted that what the letter does is summarize the four or five different aspects <br /> of traffic which the Planning Board was concerned with. Mr.Butler summarized the key <br /> components of the letter. <br /> project will generate between approximately 700—900 vehicle trips per day, <br /> The proposed p � g PP Y P <br /> depending on the particular type of use. <br /> The traffic mitigation for this project will be somewhere in the range of$41,000 to$55,000 ' <br /> for trip reduction and$33,000 to$42,000 for off-site mitigation improvements. <br /> r r <br /> r <br /> He noted what is delineated more specifically on page 2 is how the traffic mitigation funding <br /> 41 <br /> will work. The travel demand management is the application of the 20%trip reduction under . <br /> the Regional Policy Plan of the Cape Cod Commission. The purpose of those monies is to try =�7 <br /> to devise methods to reduce vehicle trips. <br /> Travel Demand Management � {' <br /> He noted that on page 3 there is specific travel demand management components that were, <br /> . . <br /> Trust that they will implement. Mr.Butler noted <br /> agreed to by the Mashpee Industrial Park <br /> in the Special Permit outlining <br /> that�f there needs to be a condition p g these TDM provisions, <br /> that would be acceptable to the Hospital. Mr.Butler noted the following;actions: <br /> r , <br /> r,f wY4 <br /> There will be a Travel Demand Management Panel/Committee that will try to <br /> coordinate flex tunes and the use of car pooling. <br /> There is an agreement to construct a bus stop shelter on Route 28 at the Park <br /> entrance, i°R <br /> There will be bike racks at each building.
