The Town Planner stated there is no approved Site Plan
of Phase III showing finished grades . He questioned how
something could be constructed without benefit of an
approved Plan/Phase.
The chairman clarified the Board agreed to a
discussion of Phase III with the understanding that Phase
II has not yet been approved by the Board.
The 'Town Planner expressed concern that a plan of tree
location has not yet been provided.
Mr. Quinn spoke to the massive undertaking of this
request stating there is a forest on both sides of the
road.
The consulting Engineer agreed with the previous
speaker stating there are significant large white pine
trees at the site. He suggested the Board consider
allowing Applicant to indicate on the ground the proposed
footprint of the building, which would allow the Planning
Board, upon inspection, to determine which trees should be
tagged for saving.
The Town Planner agreed .it would be reasonable to
allow Applicant to stake out the foundations rather than to
.identify the trees in preparation for a Planning Board on-
site inspection.
The Town Planner then specified what is required of
the Applicant by the Planning Board: Town counsel opinion;
finished grades to be shown on the plan, as well as
sufficient detail indicating proper grading and drainage;
staking of foundations in preparation for a site visit; and
delineation by principal corners to be cross referenced to
the plan for identification purposes .
There being no further Planning Board discussion, the
Chairman entertained a motion to continue the Public
Hearing in this matter.
MOTION: Dennis Bal a,rini -made a Motion to continue
the Public Hearing in this matter to February 5, 2003, at
7 : o p.m. ; which Motion was seconded by Borg Myers and so
voted unanimously.
(This matter concluded at 8 : 25 p.m.
8
