1 <br /> The Chairman declared a five minute recess at this <br /> point (8 : 56 p.m..) <br /> The Meeting was reconvened at : 02 p.m. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Four Zoning Articles - May 5 t-h Annual Town Meeting <br /> The Chairman opened the Public Hearing- in this natter. <br /> Pursuant to Mass, General Laws Ch. 4OA the Mashpee Planning <br /> Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 23, <br /> '2003 at : 00 p.m. at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North to review the following Zoning Articles for <br /> action at the May 5, 2003 Special_ Town Meeting, <br /> 1. An Article submitted by t-he Boa-rd of Selectmen amending <br /> Section 174- 1 by increasing allowed building height in <br /> the C1 Commercial District and for hotels and motels in <br /> the IC Overlay District from two stories, 35-feet to <br /> three stories, 45-feet. <br /> 2 . An Particle submitted by the Board of Selectmen amending <br /> Section 1 4-24H1 to allow motels and hotels in the I <br /> Overlay Di. trict.. - _ - - - - -- - -- - - - <br /> 3. din Article submitted by the Board of Selectmen amending <br /> Section 1 -31 by maintaining- a 150-foot front setback <br /> requirement from Routes 128 and 151 in the Il Industrial <br /> District, and reducing to 75-feet from all other public <br /> and private streets. <br /> 4 . An Art-icle submitted by Petition which would reduce the <br /> maximum height of free standing signs in Industrial <br /> Districts from 15-feet to -feet, and increase the height <br /> in Commercial Districts from 15-fe'et to 25-feet, require. <br /> such signs in Industrial Districts to be located closer <br /> than -feet to a lot lime require such signs in <br /> Commercial Districts to be no closer than 12-feet to a <br /> lot lime .
