premises signage not being specifically described within <br />the proposal. <br />The Town Planner offered to review this -natter further <br />with Petitioner as extensive change to any Article on Town <br />Meeting floor could result in another Public Hearing. <br />It was the consensus of the Board that this proposal <br />be more specific in nature; the Town Planner suggested the <br />possibility that this become a municipal project. It was <br />agreed that petitioner would appear before the Board at <br />their next meeting. <br />The Chairman recognized the following: <br />representative of the Chamber of Commerce ( name <br />inaudible) , who asked the Board to look favorably upon the <br />intent of the proposal, as the product could prove to be <br />equitable to all of the businesses in Mashpee, and would <br />benefit the public as well. <br />Joe Martin - A business owner on Echo Road, who spoke <br />to the difficulties of finding the businesses there, -and <br />expressed his support for a directory Sign. <br />Heidi Trattier - Mr. T' s Auto, who informed the Board <br />f the numerous times people stop there to ask directions. <br />She asked the Board to continue to work with Mr. Fields and <br />the other businesses in order to approve a directory sign <br />for the property. <br />The Town Planner -suggested the possibility of working <br />through the Board of Selectmen to obtain authorization on a <br />Town owned road layout, rather than going -through zoning... <br />Mr. Fields responded by saying he would like to pursue <br />both options, thanking Mr. Fudala.for the suggestion. <br />At the point the Chairman entertained a motion to <br />continue the Public Hearing in order to further review <br />Articles 16 and 2, noting all the others have been <br />favorably recommended. <br />MOTION: Bennis Ba-1 arini made a Lotion to continue <br />the Public Hearing -Zoning Articles for October 'Town <br />Meeting, to October 15, 2003 at '7:15 p.m.; which Motion was <br />seconded by Don Dyers and so voted unanimously. <br />
