Mr. Rowley agreed the material would have to be rolled into the surface i order
to make. it stable. He also determined the stone is to be angular in shape, not round.
.Mr. Rowley informed the Board that the -revised plan conforms to discussions -he
has had with Mr. Ojala. A variance for the paving is required from the Zoning Board of
Appeals. The plan shows that portion df road from Nohow load as being paved, unless
Applicant receives a variance from the Zoning Board, in which case he is requesting that
the entire road be done with reclaimed asphalt and 3 -inch stone for the entire surface.
11r. Rowley feels that in this event and with the short amount of road and grade
that it should be okay. He has suggested that the paved entrance off of Iohono Road be
maintained so that the edge of pavement is not broken up. There should be an apron to
protect the surface. He also assured Board Members that because ,grade is so steep that
no one would be able to pass through the property and that the road becomes Applicant's
private driveway.
The Town Planner stated the letter from the Fire Chief states that in his opinion
the road' does not need to be paved. From George Baker, I have reviewed the plans for
the proposed house on 1129/1133 Pequot Avenue. Due to the fact that this will be the
only house serviced by the driveway,. a pavedroad as desired by Zoning Bylaw 1 -2 is
not required.' The letter did mention a concern for the Pequot Avenue address.
There being no further Board, Staff, or public comment the Chairman entertained
a notion to close the Public Hearing.
MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to close. the Public Nearing in this
matter; which Motion was duly seconded by Harvey Cohen and so voted unanimously.
MOTION: Dennis Balzafini made a Motion to approve the waiver requests as
submitted by the Applicant; which Motion was duly seconded by ThomasO'Haraand so
voted unanimously.
MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to approve the plans entitled, `Plan
and Profi le Indicating Construction f prove a is for. #10 Lori Lane, Mashpee, MA, for
Dave Barry, revision date 10 0 0 " subject to the 1-inch native stone surface be rolled
and compacted into the surface; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara
and so voted unanimously.
Performance Guarantee
Arthur Pa ani — 149 and 221 Noisy Hole Road
Release of Load and Flooding Covenants
The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Attorney Benj -am in
Lsordo, representing Applicant.
8
