He made reference to <br /> the edge of the wetlands they had located out in, the field, <br /> and which is now being treated as a vernal pool, at <br /> approximately one hundred and two feet. <br /> Dennis Balarini expressed concern for those trees the <br /> developer is proposing to preserve, in that a unit owner <br /> will Voice concern at some point that the trees are <br /> considered a safety issue as they are located too close .t-o <br /> the b ildings. And, also that said trees beprotected <br /> properly from construction and equipment . <br /> 'Mere was some discussion concerning a possible site <br /> visit, including the Landscape committee and Planning Board <br /> Members in order to evaluate t'he tree situation. <br /> Mr. Bonn ie made reference to the Northridge area, <br /> which is currently under construction. He has requested the <br /> Town Planner in-sped the trees in this area, some of which <br /> have fallen during the last storm, or are dangerously close <br /> to falling down, and one that is located in the area where <br /> the deck 1-s being proposed. <br /> Again, Dennis Bal ari.ni cautioned the developer <br /> regarding the design of the project and suggested he avoid <br /> a situation rhe-re trees will be considered by the unit <br /> owner) to be too close to the building. <br /> The Town Planner raised issues concerning the road <br /> grade l vels being much lower than the original grade, <br /> resulting in damage to tree roots. <br /> Developer Requests <br /> Mr. Bon vie requested permission from the Board to <br /> remove the two damaged trees. <br /> The Town Planner agreed said trees are beyond saving. <br /> He also commented that there are entirely too many <br /> disturbances around the trees within this project. The <br /> snow fencing intended as a mean-s of protection, within new <br /> construction areas is not being installed properly, as a <br /> result the roots are not being protected. <br /> 6 <br />
