r. Bonvie- replied the Landscape Committee and a
professional arborist would be present for all site walls .
The Chairman expressed concern regarding pos-sible
individual value judgements being made by a resident
requesting tree removal on the basis of it being too close
to thee the-ir home.
The Town Planner suggested the language be amended i
paragraph - - to state that the Town representative is
included on all site walks (not as stated, "'if requested by
the Landscape Committee" .
Should existing trees planted for screening purposes
need to be removed, said trees would be replaced. Should
an area require revegetation, it is being proposed that it
be done as naturally as possible.
Mr. Bonvie stated he would enter into an
agreement/contract with the arborist to perform random- site
inspections (an average of twice a week) .
Ir. Bonvie agreed that in the event a tree is damaged
beyond saving due to construction negligence, that he will
replace it with two ( trees .
The Town Planner requested the amorist provide to the
Planning Board a written report, especially with regard to.
the second site walk as stated in paragraph - -; and a
monthly report with regard to random inspections as stated
in paragraph -4-.
Mr. Bonvie has requested his landscape architect to
make a final inspection of finished areas with a finding
report to the Planning Board for sign off.
. In response to a concern raised by the Chairman, Ir.
Bon-vie agreed that. the undergrowth would be considered to
b part of the naturalized 'area and will be preserved.
r. Bonvie requested that in the event a tree located
between two buildings needs to be removed, it be replaced
with smaller natural trees that do not have extensive root
structures. (There was discussion about a particular
existing specimen holly tree that has a 20 chance o
surviving. )
l.1
