M <br /> Attorney Kirrane made reference to renderings of the <br /> proposed building, indicating this will be an attractive <br /> indu-strial building, as both the Design Review and Plan <br /> Review Committees commented. <br /> The Chairman asked-if the roof would be completely <br /> flat, to which Attorney Kirrane responded, "'yes". <br /> Attorney Kirrane continued stating a lot of glass has <br /> been incorporated into the design in order to make the <br /> building more- attractive, and which will be an asset to the <br /> Industrial Park and to the community. <br /> The Town Planner and Board Members did compliment the <br /> building design. <br /> t this p i-n-t the Chairman asked Attorney Kirrane to <br /> explain the drainage system for a flat roof . <br /> Attorney I irrane explained the roof is not totally <br /> flat, as water has to have the bility to drain. There is <br /> a series of drains on the roof that will funnel into <br /> respective downspouts . <br /> The Town Planner asked for further explanation of the <br /> parking lot drainage. <br /> Mr. Taber inski clarified that downspouts will drain <br /> onto the pavement ire the rear of the building., which the <br /> drainage system has, been designed to accommodate . Some of <br /> the stormwa-ter from the roof has been designed to pitch <br /> towards the front, which may have to be redesigned. <br /> The Chairman stated the Board would, be looking towards <br /> Best Management Practices with regard to this project. <br /> Attorney Kirrane e plalMed that the two lots being <br /> proposed for this project are located in two separate and <br /> dist-inct zoning districts, the Industrial-I district and <br /> the Industrial-C overlay district . The allowed uses are <br /> different, which will allow for some flexibility (possible <br /> retail space) . <br /> The Town Planner cautioned that specific uses would <br /> have to be incorporated into the special Permit language <br /> and that consideration for specific parking would have to <br /> 9 <br />
