s <br /> Discussion - Southport - Payamps Road <br /> The Chairman recognized Charlotte Boccui, Southport <br /> Resident, who requested direction from the Planning Board <br /> regarding the construction of a path/walking trail t-o be <br /> located entirely on Southport property, or on Town property <br /> ancient way. She node reference to the buffer zone, and <br /> the possible removal of trees in order to accommodate said <br /> path, and construction of an open stairway on Conservation <br /> land) . <br /> Both Ms . -Boccu -i and Mr. Bonvie expressed concern <br /> regarding trail bikes (ATVs) and the discouragement of such <br /> use. <br /> (The Town Planner arrived at the Meeting at this <br /> point, p.m. ) <br /> Mr. Bonvie asked the Board if they would be in fair <br /> of locating the trees between the Southport fence and <br /> Payamps Load, and showing a meanderl ing 5-ft. pi4ved walkway <br /> out to the John' s Pond area. <br /> The Cha-irman expressed concern regarding pre etvation <br /> of the buffer zone, and the inappropriate use of a pared <br /> area. <br /> She agreed the Planning Board is open to further <br /> discus-sion of this matter and suggested the Southport <br /> residents pay careful consideration to the- negatives and <br /> positives of this project . <br /> Dennis Balarini suggested Mr. Bonv-ie discuss this <br /> matter with the Conservation gent Commission as well. <br /> Approval Not Required <br /> Margaret Walsh - Continued <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order and asked Mr. <br /> Rowley to express- his concerns to the Town Planner. <br /> Mr. Rowley explained there is an existing dwelling on <br /> one of the lots . The plan shows two separate lots with a <br /> division line running through the existing structure, which <br /> is going to be demolished. He asked if this would be <br /> considered to be in non-compliance with zoning. <br /> 1 <br />
