4 <br /> Parking facilities shall be located to the side or rear of the principal structure(s) on a lot, unless <br /> the Board determines that an alternative location will improve the project aesthetically or <br /> substantially reduce impacts on natural or historic resources. <br /> Minimum parking lot aisle widths, one bay and two-bay parking module widths (from curb to <br /> curb or edge of pavement to edge of pavement) shall be as follows: <br /> for 90 degree parking 24 feet, 43 feet, 4 inches and 62 feet, <br /> for 75 degree parking 20 feet, 39 feet, 9 inches and 59 feet, 6 inches, <br /> for 70 degree parking 18 feet, 4 inches, 38 feet, 2 inches and 58 feet, <br /> for 65 degree parking 17 feet, 36 feet, 9 inches and 56 feet, 6 inches, <br /> for 60 degree parting 16 feet, 35 feet, 6 inches and 55 feet, <br /> for 55 degree parting 14 feet, B inches, 33 feet, to inches and 53 feet, <br /> for 50 degree parking 13 feet, 8 inches, 32 feet, 4 inches and 51 feet, <br /> for 45 degree parking 13 feet, 31 feet and 49 feet. <br /> Parallel parking spaces shall be a minimum of 23 feet in length and B feet in width. <br /> ADA parking requirements shall be met for all non-residential projects. <br /> Appropriately Sized and designed off-street truck loading/unloading and parking spaces shall be <br /> provided for all retail and industrial projects, for any "dumpster" location and for other <br /> development as required. Such facilities shall not interfere with use of or circulation within <br /> required automobile parking areas. <br /> Where driVe-through window facilities are proposed, stacking lanes of an appropriate length <br /> shall be provided separately from any parking aisle or emergency access lane. <br /> Access for Fire Department vehicles to all structures shall be provided as recommended by the <br /> Fire Department and shall provide sufficient inside and outside radius to accommodate the <br /> epa ents ladder truck, including truck overhangs. <br /> Perking -facilities small be sloped 1- % to drainage grate inlets, catch basins or curb inlets. <br /> tormwater from parking areas shall be treated to minimize the amount of nitrogen reaching <br /> groundwater to the greatest extent feasible. <br /> Pavement thickness, subgrade and other structural design specifications shall require approval <br /> by the Board, and shall generally include 12 inches of suitable base material and 3 inches of <br /> pavement applied as a binder course of 11 to 2 inches and a finish course of 1 to 11 inches. <br /> The perimeter of any parking area shall have curbs and gutters of cast-in-place concrete or <br /> other edge treatment suitable to control parking lot drainage, prevent erosion and maintain the <br /> pavement edge in good condition. A minim um 5-foot radius shall be- required for-all vertical - - �-- <br /> barrier curbs adjacent to parking lot driveways, islands and planting areas. <br /> No structure, fend, post or other solid object other than curbing shall be -allowed within three <br /> (3) feet of the paved surface of any parking area or driveway. <br /> 21 <br />
