He then <br /> recognized Beverly Kane for the purpose of making public comment. <br /> Ms. Dane stated her wish to make the following statement for <br /> the Record with respect to the proposed zoning article amendments i <br /> .relating to the Mashpee Commons Master Plan. She noted the <br /> following statement was being submitted on behalf of the Mashpee <br /> Environmental Coalition: <br /> 11 i � I <br /> The Mashpee Environmental Coalition' s Board of Directors s <br /> convinced that the completed and reviewed fiscal traffic <br /> p I <br /> aesthetic and wastewater impact studies for the proposed Mashpee <br /> Commons Master Plan that were promised to the citizens of Mashpee <br /> at the beginning of this process be made available to the Mashpee� <br /> Planning Board and to the public before any zoning amendmentsRll <br /> " <br /> that affect the r Mashpee River Subwatershed are considered for <br /> o <br /> approval by this Planning Board. <br /> The question remains: Can the Planning Board take a <br /> position on the proposed zoning amendments relating to Mashpee _ <br /> .r <br /> Commons expansion plans if the impacts occurring as a result of <br /> these zoning changes are not known?" A copy of said document <br /> dated August 19, 1998 is attached herewith and is to be , <br /> interpreted as part of the Minutes of the August 19, 199-8 <br /> Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting. <br /> The Chairman then recognized Kerr Marsh. a representative oti ; <br /> g y <br /> Of Mashpee Commons, who stated they are proponents for the <br /> upcoming zoning bylaw amendments. She stated that Mashpee , <br /> Commons is able to go forward with their proposed project under <br /> current zoning. The zoning amendmehts being proposed are being <br /> done so in order to wetter the project, as well as to better any ± <br /> future commrercial prof ec t s wi thin the Town.
