i
I
, r
into the Town interests.
- The Chairman called .f or any Board questions or input.
} Patrick Coffey stated his delight at the compromise with
the existing community and the fact that the proposed plan seems
to have reverted back more ■• # to c o e closely to the original plan.
f
r `There being
1 b g no further input from Board Members, the
r ` ` Chairman r . € cased a concern regarding any modification to the
original plan that would increase impact along the outer edges
of the project due to the large public interest in the matter
at the hearings. He expressed a concern with the area near
Great Neck Road South being disrupted in order to provide for
units and inquired, if anything could be done.
••J
1
4
Attorney Butler responded that he felt they were still
purporting with the spirit and intent of what had been discussed
' at the original special Permit, which was to screen it and try
to have as little impact on the roadway as possible.
The Chairman reiterated the area, was going to be
undisturbed, a forest area, especially along the dirt road, as
r part of the open space. He expressed concern about disturbing
areas that had not been disturbed in the original in order to
meet the seven (7W) percent coverage increase being proposed and
stated this to be an issue for further discussion.
-. Attorney Butler suggested he would address and argue this
issue as best he could, providing data and information at the
next Hearing.
' (There was brief discussion regarding the possibility of
c relocating the unit in question. )
The Chairman stated a further concern with the proposed
construction road, said road being currently used to travel
through the conservation lands. He inquired if the power line
easement could be used instead.
Attorney Butler was uncertain about the right of access
over the easement. He stated they would be agreeable to a
¢ condition, providing limitations of the use of River Road, with a
.wl
requirement to restore its original condition upon completion of
} P
t
construction.,
The Chairman pointed out that the original permit does not
t
indicate a use of that road for any reason and feels this is also
a matter for further and continued discussion. (This matter had
not been presented to the Board for consideration prior to this
- : Meeting. )
{ The Chairman asked f or comment f rom Board Members,
recognizing the request from unit owners for an access road
t
ry
i
3
l '
