Any exceptional conditions <br /> STEP 4: SKETCH REVIEW <br /> The Sketch Review concentrates on.the placement of the home on the lot,the floor plan, and a <br /> generalized view of the home's,exterior. This is the first step in most architects' planning of a new <br /> home, and it's also the first formal step in the Jobs and Whitings Design Approval Process. <br /> Drawings may be hand sketched or CAD formatted. The Neighborhood Architect may be able to <br /> make recommendations at this early stage that will improve your design. Here is what is required <br /> for this review: <br /> A. FORM A: Sketch Review Application <br /> B. Sketch review drawings as outlined below: <br /> • Boundary and tree survey <br /> • Site plans and floor plans (1/16" min.) <br /> Primary building elevations (an),appropriate scale) <br /> • Project data—to include: required setbacks and easements, and building footprint area <br /> • Variations (if applicable) <br /> STEP 5: SCHEMATIC DESIGN REVIEW <br /> This review confirms a correct interpretation of the_Code and a_satisfactory_design direction. <br /> Drawings may be hand sketched or CAD formatted. <br /> You will be notified concerning approval or any changes that need to be made before the plans <br /> can be approved. Once the plans are approved, the Neighborhood Architect will sign and date <br /> them. <br /> Here is what is required for the Schematic Design Review: <br /> A. FORM A: Approved Sketch Review Application <br /> B. FORM B: Schematic Design Review Application <br /> C. Schematic design drawings, on 24" x 36" sheet size, as outlined below: <br /> • Site plan(1/16") showing: <br /> i. North arrow <br /> ii. Property lines and setbacks with dimensions <br /> ill. Building footprints with entries, porches, and balconies delineated and <br /> overhangs shown as dashed lines <br /> iv. Location of ou-site parking, if applicable <br /> v. Drives and walks, dimensioned <br /> vi. Scrub "save" areas delineated, if applicable_ <br /> vii. Landscape areas <br /> 5 <br />
