Mashpee Zoning Minutes—April 11, 2001 7 <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> Mr. Brem asked if the Town could waive the requirement for the buses to be parked <br /> within Town. Mr. Regan stated that the Zoning By-laws do not allow the Board to grant <br /> the Special Permit at this time. <br /> Mr. Regan moved to continue the Petition to April 25, 2001. Mr.Nelson seconded. All <br /> agreed. <br /> Stephen L. Silva—Requests a six-month Extension of Variance,V-00-101. A Variance <br /> from Sections 174-31 and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the front <br /> setback requirements and the setback requirements from the water and wetlands to allow <br /> for construction of a single-family home on property located in an R-5 zoning district at I <br /> 105 Timberlane Drive (Map 22 Block 22)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: James E. Regan III, Robert G. Nelson and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> Mr. Silva represented his Petition and stated that the need for an extension of the <br /> Variance is due to delays in selling his existing home and delays in fording an architect <br /> and builder to start the project. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Mr. Borgeson stated that he has visited the lot and that the trees have been cleared from <br /> the lot. <br /> i <br /> Ili <br /> No comments were received from abutters. ' <br /> Mr.Nelson moved to grant the six-month extension of the Variance. Ms. Elizenberry <br /> seconded. All agreed. <br /> Michael Scolavino, Trustee—Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-20 of .j <br /> the Zoning By-laws for permission to demolish an existing structure and construct <br /> a single-family home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 79 Seconsett !� <br /> Island Road(Map 119 Block 102)Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting: James E. Regan III, Frederick R. Borgeson and Marshall A. Brem. <br /> Mr.David Sanicki of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the Petition and stated that <br /> additions have been made to the existing cottage over the years. He submitted photos of <br /> the property and stated that the owner would like to demolish the cottage and construct a <br /> new home. Mr. Sanicki said that a new Title V septic system was installed on the subject <br /> property a little over a year ago. Proposed lot coverage would be under 8%. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> Mr.Borgeson moved to grant the Special Permit, subject to findings 1, 4, 5, 6 and that no to <br /> Variance from setbacks is required,that the existing cottage does not conform to the j <br /> flood hazard zone and that the new structure will conform to the flood requirements.
