He stated that the level of understanding is
different from the Boards level of understanding. They have
reservations about the articles until more research is done . He
read a statement from the Association.
There is not adequate technical review for some of these articles .
The residents of Mashpee do not have enough time to conduct a full
r.ev i ew s
The zoning request proposed is of far reaching proportion and they
feel is not in the best interest of the town of Mashpee..
With these zoning changes Mashpee would be going in the co:mpiet ely
ether direction from the rest of the Cape.--
Would request that the Board evaluate the changes more ca-t:efu+ly, .
Judy asked if there was one particular by law they had a problem
with or zoning bylaws in general's
George Molloy stated that they need to know more and more time to
evaluate them more thoroughly.
Judy responded that the Beard has been working on the bylaws for
a long time and feel it is in the best interest of the commun-i ty in
general .
She stated that you have a problem with Bufflehead Bay and it may
be your concern with that project is clouding your judgement of
what is going on here. Buf f lehead Bay is coming in under some ver y
old zon.ina.
What is being proposed tonight is in the best interest. of the- Town
and they have the Board support.
The next trend in development will be commercial and th,2-y are
trying to get ahead of the game .
10
