16 Great Neck Road North <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />Mr. Lehrer stated the Save Mashpee Wakeby Coalition invited the department to be there as an <br />engagement opportunity on June 25th. The details to be worked out, we won't be there for the totality of <br />the meeting, but it starts at noon. He will be there early to set up and he was discussing getting a table <br />at Stop and Shop, Mashpee Commons, or Roche brothers. <br />Ms. Waygan said the Friday night rush, Saturday morning traffic, and Sunday morning when everyone <br />is getting out of church are the best times. <br />Mr. Fulone also stated any Saturday morning at Heritage Park there is a sporting event. <br />Mr. Balzarini stated they should use the school billboard. <br />Mr. Lehrer used it for the workshops. <br />Additional meeting dates proposal for review of Existing Conditions <br />Ms. Waygan asked if the Board wants additional meetings or go through them at regular meetings. <br />Consensus was to go through them at regular meetings. <br />Discussion and possible vote regarding the clear cutting at 64, 58, and 54 Algonquin Avenue <br />and 420 Nathan Ellis Highway and referral to the Cape Cod Commission <br />Mr. Lehrer does not have any new information. The CCC has all the information they need to render a <br />jurisdictional determination. He will keep the Board apprised when he hears from the CCC. <br />Ms. Waygan stated last meeting they took a vote to ask the CCC if we could refer it to them. <br />Clean Water Initiative Nitrogen Sensitive Area <br />Ms. Waygan recognized Mr. Colombo as he was present at the last Planning Board meeting and he did <br />Public Comment about an initiative in town declaring the town a nitrogen sensitive area. There is <br />information in the packet, DEP letter and fact sheet, as well as a document titled Coordinated Approach <br />to Reducing Nutrient Loading. He is from the Conservation Commission and they had some activity on <br />this. <br />The Chair called for Public Comment and recognized Paul Colombo. <br />Paul Colombo- He was under the impression the Conservation Commission would meet with Select <br />Board on June 61h. Their agent was away and that agenda item did not get set up. He was told the next <br />Select Board meeting on June 27th the agenda item will be there. The Conservation Commission did <br />vote to ask the Select Board to have an ongoing agenda item for declaring the town of Mashpee a <br />nutrient sensitive area. There have been new developments from Mass DEP with issuing title 5 <br />regulations being revamped possibly as soon as this fall and it's a window of opportunity we should <br />19 <br />
