It will be nice to garner and gauge
the interest of their owners. We can ask if they are interested, if there is a barrier, and see about their
zoning. Some people are zoned commercial and aren't doing that great. Maybe their interest would be
to convert to housing and see what they need in order to do that.
Mr. Lehrer will figure out what time the meeting starts and will report back to the Board.
TOWN PLANNER REPORT
Update on Popponesset Overlay District
Mr. Lehrer had the initial meeting with Poppy residents and the Health Agent and Building
Commissioner. Conservation
Commission invited Mr. McCarthy to give the same presentation to the Commission. It was beneficial and he thought at this
juncture he may be willing.
The Board made a group consensus to have the Health Agent Glenn McCarthy present.
Ms. Waygan stated if they want to change the bylaw by February, it needs to get on the May warrant.
Mr. Lehrer will follow up with that. He also provided the final draft for the CPC 751 Main St. application,
along with letters of support.
Ms. Waygan informed him the sooner he submits it to the CPC the sooner they will have a meeting.
She suggested he used his connections to get a place holder for the warrant.
16
