He feels good about the content <br />but timing wise there are things that need to be considered. <br />Workshops <br />September 11, 2022 2:00p.m. Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council <br />The Board was supposed to be meeting this upcoming Sunday with the Tribe for their general <br />membership meeting. Mr. Lehrer contacted the Tribal representative to confirm and discuss <br />intentions of formatting. He was told there is a likelihood the meeting will need to be <br />rescheduled. The newly proposed date is Sunday, September 25, 2022. He is hopeful the <br />event will happen as they are reaching the point of closing the community engagement. They <br />have the framework and what conversations need to be had they just need to confirm the date. <br />Mr. Fulone inquired about the numerous rescheduling of meetings. <br />Mr. Lehrer stated COVID held up some meetings but he is not fully certain. He was told at this <br />next meeting they needed to discuss budgeting and other topics will be postponed as they can <br />only discuss their budget per their charter. <br />Ms. Waygan has been told there was also a lack of quorum. <br />Virtual Workshops <br />Mr. Lehrer is looking at the final two weeks for the general workshop and workshop for parents <br />of school age kids. <br />The workshop for parents of school aged children will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 <br />from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. <br />The general workshop is being proposed for Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6:30p.m. to <br />8:30p.m. That will close out the public engagement. <br />Mr. Lehrer is preparing packages to go home with kids containing a flyer and a letter explaining <br />the invitation to participate in the workshop. He is hopeful to encourage parents at the Open <br />House over the next few weeks to spend time participating in the workshop. <br />Ms. Waygan would like a calendar of all upcoming events. <br />Mr. Lehrer noted the next phase of the LCP will begin after the Tribal meeting and workshops. <br />The last remaining item to schedule for October will be working on the mission statement. <br />
