(Some of the residents in attendance objected stating they have never received <br /> notification of a meeting.) <br /> ,Attorney McElhinney explained that there are 400-acres within the Willowbend <br /> property and that anyone more than 300-feet away were not included. He stated there <br /> have been two meetings with the immediate abutters and that anyone who has,submitted <br /> a letter of concern to the Planning Board has been contacted. A meeting with the <br /> residents of Cranberry Ridge was conducted last winter. He suggested that residents <br /> submit their concerns in writing and that the developer would address them. <br /> Dennis Balzarini suggested that a meeting between the developer and residents be <br /> scheduled at this meeting. <br /> Attorney McElhinney stated the developer would be happy to host a meeting the <br /> following Saturday. <br /> The Chairman suggested that several meetings be scheduled in order to provide <br /> everyone the opportunity to attend. She noted there appears to be a great deal, of work to <br /> be accomplished prior to returning to the Planning Board. <br /> (There was,some discussion as to whether or not the Board should require a traffic <br /> study at this point. It was agreed to wait until such time as the abutters' concerns are <br /> expressed so that the study could be tailored to those, concerns, as well as those concerns <br /> of the Board.) <br /> Steve Marks, 47 Cranberry Ridge Road—Stated his property abuts that of <br /> Willowbend. He expressed concern with regard to those residents who are away during, <br /> the fall and winter and are unable to attend meetings conducted by the developer. He <br /> also expressed concern regarding Sampson s Mill Road noting the three exits and the <br /> bridge going over Santuit River. He stated the bridge has been rebuilt once and needs to <br /> be rebuilt again due to traffic generated by Willowbend trucks delivering materials. <br /> There is an exit on Cape Drive which is a private road owned by the Pheasant Run <br /> Condominium Association and will be completely destroyed by construction vehicles. <br /> Ile also commented on the exit onto Route 28 stating it is a"nightmare". <br /> Mrs. Shinekoff, 115 Willowbend Drive—Expressed concern regarding traffic <br /> issues stating she has two young grandchildren and that her main concern is for their <br /> safety. <br /> At this point the Chairman entertained a motion to continue the Public Hearing in <br /> this matter. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to,continue the Public Hearing in <br /> this matter to August 20, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas <br /> O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br />
