Attorney McElhinney proposed an initial meeting for 2:30 p.m. at the <br /> Willowbend Deal Estate Office on Saturday,July 19u`in an attempt to begin to address <br /> residents concerns. <br /> This matter concluded at 8;50 p.m. at which point the Chairman declared a five <br /> minute recess. <br /> Board.Items <br /> MOTION: Bennis Balzarini made a Motion to cancel the Planning'Board. <br /> Meeting for Wednesday, August+6,2 08; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas <br /> O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> Special Permit <br /> Gape 'Southport LLC—Southport Phase III <br /> Review of Phase III and Sales Office Building Elevations <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Mr. Ron Bonvie. <br /> Mr. Bonvie submitted five copies of the building plans as required by the Special. <br /> Kermit. All units are two-bedroom and have been satisfactorily reviewed by the <br /> Association. <br /> Mr. Bonvie made reference to the sales center in the model park, stating it will be <br /> built as a sales unit to be converted into a home single-unit at some point, He is <br /> requesting construction of the model park which includes a tri-plea as well as the sales <br /> center. <br /> Mr, Bonvie then made reference to the approved Site Plan,noting those trees that. <br /> have been removed in order to construct the roadway. Approval has been made by the <br /> Conservation Agent/Commission and hay bales have been put in place. Both the Town. <br /> Planner and Consulting Engineer were notified prior to the removal of trees. <br /> Mr. Bonvie informed the Board that the Consulting Engineer has reviewed the <br /> plans for a retaining wall at Martha's Pond,and that a building permit has been issued. <br /> Said plans were prepared by a structural engineer. He requested approval of construction <br /> of the lift station as well as the retaining wall prior to the construction of units.. <br /> Mr. Bonvie requested approval to begin a material pile which will be tested by <br /> engineers in order to determine whether or not the materials are suitable for the backfi:l:l <br /> for the wall as well as a base guideline for compaction results. <br /> The Town Planner stated that under the Special Permit a specific plan for Section, <br /> I of Phase III is required regarding the storage and handling of soils and other materials <br /> prior to any grading. <br /> n� <br />
