It <br />provides a vision, growth policy, and goals -based <br />framework for the region. <br />The plan provides the policy framework for both <br />the Commission's regulatory and planning work. Safety and congestion issues in the <br />area have identified it as a priority for investigation. <br />Based on information learned at two public <br />listening sessions held in April, staff from the Cape <br />Cod Commission and the Town of Mashpee developed <br />draft alternative concepts for the corridor, ranging from <br />striping improvements to a rotary replacement, which <br />aim to reduce congestion and improve multi -modal <br />accommodations. Conceptual improvements were <br />presented to the public in December, followed by a <br />public comment period.
