M0__TJO'N_: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to approve the plans dated October
12, 2007, which includes Exhibit "A" for the intersection, and the 20-ft, Nvide pavement,
to continue to the end of the property line, with a 1 1/2 --inch binder and I -inch overlay to
the end of the property line. Also, Applicant shall consider the extension of the sidewalk
from Osprey Lane to Route 28 in conjunction with the signalization of the Route 28
intersection; which Motion was duly seconded byrhornas O'Hara and so voted
unanimously.
Voting in Favor: Beverly Kane, Dennis Balzarini, Myrna, Nuey, Thomas O'Hara,
and Harvey Cohen.
(Planning Board Member Joseph Mullin did not participate in the official vote as
he was riot present at the original Public f learing.)
Definitive Subdivision Plan
Steven Giatrelis — 588 Main Street -- Signature of Five -Lot Definitive Subdivision Plan
The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Attorney Kevin Kirrane,
representing the Applicant,
Attorney Kirrane explained that because Applicant is unable to attend the
nieeting. he has submitted an unsigned Covenant. He suggested the Planning Board sign
the plan and hold onto it until such time as the Applicant signs the Covenant,
The'FoNvn Planner reminded the Board that the Decision includes five (5)
Conditions. Submission of a detailed plant list with the location, number, and type of
plants to be used on the proposed drainage bioretention areas is required,
There was a response frorn Michael'I"albot, Landscaper, who states that he cannot
provide a detailed plan as this is to be a naturalized area,
Mr, Rowley is not in agreement with this staterrient as there is nothing out of the
ordinary about the area in question. The sketch plan provided indicates eighteen trees at
the base implanted with six perfectly aliened rows. He is suggesting the location,
number, and type of plantings be determined so that upon inspection there will be, a
complete listing of those types and number of plants that are supposed to be there.
A summary has been provided for plantings proposed for three different areas,
however the landscaper has not specified exact plantings. This will be determined by the
person who is actually doing the planting. The first level is a turf or sod perimeter around
the top edge of the retention area. The next area is a 6-111. wide strip that goes around the
entire area, there are three different planting suggestions for this area. It is also indicated
that there are to be, nineteen trees interspersed with other plantings at the bog.
Mr. Rowley's, nikkjor concern is for inspection purposes, as there is no specified
plan indicating the exact number, location, and type of plants to be used.
0
