3. Public Comment: Public comments were received regarding transparency with the public's <br /> perspective of the Housing Authority, suggestions were also made on how to repair these <br /> misconceptions. These comments were unrelated to the Annual Plan and will be addressed <br /> independently. Other public comments were regarding the website, work order priorities, capital <br /> projects, deferred maintenance, and extending the public comment period. Board members and <br /> the Executive Director clarified questions regarding capital projects during the meeting. <br /> ® Discussion and Vote to Approve the Annual Plan FY2025: The board further discussed the <br /> plan, noted that the Executive Director would summarize and respond to the public comments <br /> within the final plan, and found it unnecessary to extend the comment period. Lisa Meizinger <br /> moved to approve the Mashpee Housing Authority Proposed Annual Plan for Fiscal Year <br /> 2025, seconded by Richard Klein. Motion carried. 5-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 5. Public Hearing Adjournment: Lisa Meizinger moved to adjourn the Public Hearing, <br /> seconded by Mary LeClair. Motion carried. 5-Ayes, 0-Nays. The public hearing closed at 6:10 <br /> PM. <br /> 6. Meeting Called to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:11 PM by Jill Allen, Chair. A <br /> quorum was declared with the following members present Jill Allen, Mary LeClair, Lisa <br /> Meizinger, and Richard Klein. <br /> 7. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes: Ms.Allen entertained a motion to approve the general <br /> session minutes of February 8, 2024. Ms. Meizinger moved to approve the minutes of the <br /> February 8,2024, meeting, seconded by Mr. Klein. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays. <br /> 8. Treasurer's Report & Warrants: Ms. Conn reviewed the January & February 2024 Financials, <br /> the current reserve level is at 43.83% and is expected to remain above the 35%threshold at year- <br /> end, extraordinary maintenance items continue to arise. Ms. LeClair moved to approve the <br /> January and February 2024 financials, seconded by Ms. Meizinger. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, <br /> 0-Nays. The board then reviewed the February 2024 Warrants. After a brief discussion, Ms. <br /> Meizinger moved to approve the February 2024 Warrants,seconded by Ms.LeClair. Motion <br /> carried. 4-Ayes, 0-Nays, <br /> 9. Executive Director's Report &_Updatev. Ms. Conn reviewed the late rents, with two from <br /> Breezy Acres, and three from Homeyer Village, Great Cove and Asher's Path are paid in full. <br /> There is one vacancy at Great Cove. An applicant was approved in December and sent over to <br /> Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) for final approval, we are ready to lease as soon as HAC <br /> provides and approval. Ms. Conn reported on project 172052 Breezy way building envelope, <br /> residents, staff, and board results selected chestnut as the final siding color, with blue doors. <br /> Building fifteen roofs are complete and partial trim, thirteen partial trim and roof, and building <br /> eleven trim is beginning. The next construction meeting is March 22, 2024. Ms. Conn reported <br /> that an emergency repair to replace the heat/hot water whole house mixing valve was opened as a <br /> capital project revision for unit 15B-9 project 172070 was completed in February but requires a <br />
