16 Great Neck RoadNorth
Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649
Mr. Lehrer spoke with Mr. Pesce regarding this topic. The Board has relieved the developer of
the construction of the sidewalk. The top course of pavement and drainage work was in
addition to that. A series of repairs were suggested to the stormwater facility. Mr. Pesce is
satisfied at this time but would like to put eyes on this one final time. Mr. Lehrer would suggest
a release on the condition of Mr. Pesce's final inspection.
Mr. Balzarini commented that the dirt pile is still very much there. Mr. Lehrer's response was
there are zoning enforcements against him, but there is also some satisfaction in the
movement. Mr. Lehrer was notified today there is a new mulch pile and that is being dealt with.
He is not suggesting no release due to these issues.
Ms. Waygan would like to add Site Review to the July 17th Agenda and notify Mr. Pesce to
review this site one last time. She would like a written recommendation from the Consulting
Engineer. The Building Commissioner can be involved.
Review and approval of Consulting Engineer's Invoices
MOTION:
Mr. Balzarini made a motion to approve invoice #2024-2197 for engineering review
services at Cranberry Point in the amount of $740.68. Seconded by Mr. Oakley.
All in favor.
OLD BUSINESS
Review and Discussion of request to schedule working session with members of the
Popponesset Working Group and other neighborhoods regarding an updated raze and
replace bylaw and other matters that affect the Town and Popponesset.
Mr. Lehrer stated the proposed date is June 25th 6:OOPM-8:OOPM. Mr. Hansen, Ms. Faulkner,
and Ms. Waygan will be able to attend with the members of Popponesset. He will invite older
small lot subdivisions in and around John's Pond, Santuit Pond, and Monomoscoy Island. He
doesn't know if they have established associations, but he knows who he can reach out to.
Ms. Waygan stated Marge Hecht came to speak on the draft. There is a Friends of Ashumet
Pond group he could speak to. She is not ready for every property owner to be invited, she is
looking for people who expressed interest, are in a leadership role, or stakeholders. We might
do overlays. She would like Mr. Lehrer to talk to Wayne Taylor and see if we can get contacts.
She doesn't want to deny anyone, but we will eventually meet with ZBA on this.
Mr. Balzarini thinks the people who live in associations are important. Deciding who to
represent will not be as easy as others. He would like to figure out what their questions are
before we have a big meeting with answers.
