MINUTES May 27 , 1993 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Doherty directed Mr. McQuaid to contact all licensed <br /> pumpers and request they attend the June 10 , 1993 meeting to <br /> discuss lagoon operations. <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Letters have been received from <br /> Peter Doyle and Thomas Mullen regarding the disposal of <br /> septage at their facility. " <br /> Board members reviewed and acknowledged receiving the <br /> letters. <br /> 11. ) Request for recycling. books - Board members agreed to <br /> purchase 200 copies. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> A. Letter from Town Counsel re: Lagoon closure - Mr. <br /> Doherty stated, "Executive session is not necessitated at <br /> this time as no additional information has been received. " <br /> Meetin re: Nutrient Loading - Board members agreed to re- <br /> schedule the meeting to a later date which is agreeable to <br /> all parties. <br /> B. Request for payment from D.E.P. - Mr. McQuaid informed <br /> Board members "A bill has been received from D.E.P. in the <br /> amount of $23,000.00 for services rendered between July 1, <br /> 1989 and May 19, 1993. " <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "It is presumed the bill is for ex- <br /> penses incurred with the Summerwood water situation. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid relayed, "Weston & Sampson is going to pre- <br /> pare a response from the Board. " <br /> *****NEW BUSINESS***** <br /> Open House - Mashpee Fire Department <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> Ca a Cod Commission review of New Seabury Treatment Plant #1 <br /> & #2 <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated, "This Board referred these two <br /> treatment plants to the Cape Cod Commission for their deter- <br /> mination as to jurisdictional appropriateness. " "The Cape <br /> Cod Commission rendered a decision that they have the proper <br /> jurisdiction to review this project. " "New Seabury filed a <br /> petition to take that to court.
