" , <br /> Acknowledged. <br /> 6. ) Letter from Dept. of Labor re: Prevailing wage law - <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, "We were under the impression the Trans- <br /> fer Station/Landfill contract, is a service contract . and <br /> therefore exempt. " "I would recommend we request a clarifi- <br /> cation from Town Counsel as the implications are very sub- <br /> stantial. " <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. Greelish directed Mr. McQuaid to contact the Ex- <br /> ecutive Secretary and request he obtain a clarification from <br /> Town Counsel. <br /> 7 . ) Proposal for freon removal - Mr. McQuaid recommended <br /> the Board contact Mr. Pierce and request a per unit cost <br /> rather than an annual fee as we cannot predict the number of <br /> refrigeration units per year. <br /> Mr. Greelish commented, "Mr. DiMaggio did volunteer to <br /> contact the Coca-Cola Company as they indicated they would <br /> remove the freon free of charge.
