MINUTES August 19, 1993 5 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. Coffey relayed, "The Board approved this project in <br /> January of 1990. " "We have revised plans as the owner has <br /> had major water damage and would like to renovate the exist•- <br /> ing dwelling. " "The revised plan delineates a four bedroom <br /> house. " "The existing house is a six bedroom dwelling. " <br /> j "The existing ejector system is located in a pit outside in <br /> an easement." "We are proposing to relocate the ejector sys- <br /> tem inside and upgrade it to a Zolar 267. " ' "We will have a <br /> standard gravity fed Title V septic system by the time we <br /> complete the project. " "The ejector pump is for the existing <br /> basement bath and existing bar sink. " <br /> Mr. Evans informed Mr. Coffey the ejector system must be <br /> approved by D.E.P. . <br /> Mr. Raymond responded, "It was approved in 1990." <br /> Mr. Evans commented, "I am unsure as to whether that <br /> permit is valid as you are relocating the system. " <br /> Mr. Coffey explained, "The basement plan remains the <br /> same with the exception that the present four bedrooms will <br /> be reduced to two. " . "The washer and dryer will be moved up- <br /> stairs." <br /> I <br /> Mr. Evans questioned whether there would be an alarm. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Raymond responded, "Yes. " <br /> I <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "I would like plans submitted which <br /> delineate how the ejector system will be installed along with <br /> the floats and alarm. " <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended a health agent determine the <br /> retention capacity and question D.E.P. as to whether <br /> they forwarded a letter of approval for the ejector system <br /> that was installed in 1990. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to grant a 50' local variance from <br /> the on-site well to the proposed on-site leaching facility <br /> and the use of an ejector system to accommodate the basement <br /> bathroom and basement bar sink with the stipulation this of- . <br /> fice receive a copy of D.E.P. 's letter of approval for the <br /> ejector system installed in 1990, the engineer submit plans <br /> delineating installation of the ejector pump and the health <br /> agent shall determine the rentention tank capacity, Mr. Ball <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4. ) Request from V.N.A. re: Letter of support - Mr. <br /> Doherty directed Mr. McQuaid to forward a letter of support <br /> as requested by the V.N.A. . <br />
