MINUTES October 7 , 1993 4 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid responded, "No. " <br /> Mr. Grotske stated, "A three bedroom house is proposed. " <br /> Mr. Greelish recommended the engineer notify the abutter <br /> who questioned the project. <br /> Board members agreed with Mr. Greelish's recommendation. <br /> Mr. McQuaid rescheduled this variance request until next <br /> week's meeting. <br /> 23 WATERLINE DRIVE <br /> Mr. Grotske was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. <br /> Mr. Grotske presented plans to Board members and stated, <br /> "We are requesting a State sideline variance. " "A three bed- <br /> room house is proposed. " "We have not, as of yet, met with <br /> the Conservation Commission. " <br /> Mr-. -.McQuaid recommended- notifying- the owner of #149 Wa- <br /> terline Drive of the variance request. <br /> Board members agreed. <br /> Mr. McQuaid rescheduled- the variance request until next <br /> week's meeting. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Down Cape Engineering - 21 Taffrail Road <br /> Mr. Arnold Ojala, P.E. , Mr. Al Roberti, Attorney Ford <br /> O'Connor and Mr. McDonald, owner of the lot, were in atten- <br /> dance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Ojala presented revised plans and stated, "We have <br /> reduced the number of bedrooms from three to two. " "The sys- <br /> tem has been relocated closer to test hole #4 and we can now <br /> maintain 90' from the edge of the wetland area. " "A <br /> reinforced concrete retaining wall is proposed. " "There is <br /> 10' of sand beneath the system therefore, in my opinion, it <br /> should function as a Titel V system. " <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr. McDonald of the Board's con- <br /> cern with ground saturation in the area. <br /> Mr. Doherty informed Mr. McDonald of the precedent this <br /> Board would set and possible subsequent litigation should <br /> this Board grant the variance relief sought. <br />
