Mr. <br /> Cram abstained. <br /> Mr. Ball commented, "I think because of this I think we should review our policy." <br /> Mr. Doherty stated, "I am not happy with this but maybe in the interest of fairness <br /> but certainly not in the interest of public health because of the issue of the private roads <br /> and the accessibility is the only reason I went that way." "I probably will regret it." <br /> Mr. Marsters stated, "Just so you know that I am a guy who is behind town water <br /> 100%." "The lots I am doing over on Quashnet Valley right now that are wells that the <br /> Water Department said they were going to vote in to put town water in there when it <br /> comes free of charge for the people, I'll lay the water line for them." "If that's not <br /> encouraging everybody to hook into town water I don't know what is." "I am doing that <br /> free of charge for them." "There will come a day when they are all going to want to hook <br /> up to town water and I, in turn will offer them a low rate service through my plumber and <br /> with the excavator to get as much town water as we can." "I am not anti town water, I <br /> don't want you to think that." "We are doing all we can to promote town water in the <br /> developments where we are actually the developer." <br /> APPOINTMENT: Stephanie Jones- Recycling Program <br /> Ms. Jones was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Ms. Jones stated, "I am concerned about the town's recycling program." "The <br /> newspapers have been closed for the last two weeks." <br /> Mr. Doherty gave Ms. Jones a brief overview of the town's recycling program." <br /> Mr. Jones recommended providing an overfill bin for the newspapers. <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to Ms. Jones the proposal Sandwich is offering to dispose <br /> of newspapers. <br /> Discussion took place regarding current and future recycling procedures. <br />
